MS Music Studio​

I am the owner of MS Music Studio, North Wilkes-Barre, located just off of the Cross Valley Expressway.  I am a music educator and performer with a wealth of musical experience.  As a life-long student of music my goal and my commitment is to generate enthusiasm about learning and loving music, aid in the development of well-rounded students, and promote the arts and culture within the community.

I hold a Bachelor of Music Degree in Education in the choral track and was privileged to study piano with the legendary Anne Vanko Liva.  I was additionally fortunate to have the valuable experience of aiding Mrs Liva with her studio and teaching privately at Wilkes University.  I have a concentration in piano, voice, vocal instruction and choral conducting.  Having also studied percussion for many years, I maintain a full schedule of professional performances on timpani and percussion throughout Pennsylvania. I specialize in timpani maintenance, repair, and restoration.  Currently I teach percussion and direct the percussion ensemble at Wyoming Seminary's Upper School.

I welcome students of all ages and levels to have an enjoyable learning experience in a quiet environment.   Each lesson is tailored to the individual.  MS Music Studio guarantees the highest quality music education available in this area.  Lessons are reasonably priced.  I carry the books and materials you will need and will aid you to find an appropriate instrument.  I have flexible hours and a convenient location.  Lessons are available online and in-person.  I serve the entire Wyoming Valley.

My students have consistently won placement at District and Regional PMEA music events and festivals.  My students have gone on to succeed in music programs at schools such as Temple, Ithaca, Mansfield, Roanoke, and Juniata. I am also proud to have helped develop musicians and music teachers with flourishing careers.
